Byala City is located on the coast of the Black Sea 55 km. city of Varna and 75 km. city of Burgas. Calm, quiet and sunny town near the Balkan Mountains, which forms an unique climate that gives conditions for a full break from spring to late autumn. |
Close to city of Obzor and a further south the lavishing Sunny Beach. Byala consists of several parts, reflecting different periods of settlement. An example is the Greek quarter, created around the mid 20’s of the XX century. Byala’s history dates back at beginning of the IV century BC. Then the city was known under the name of Aspros. The village is mentioned as well in the records of the Ottoman Empire of 1731 under the name Ak dere. |
